Dr. Helen Yang MD, FRCSC
Obstetrics and Gynecology
Dr. Yang is a Fellow at the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, having completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alberta. She received her degree in Bachelor of Health Sciences at McMaster University, went on to pursue a Master's degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto, then completed her Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Ottawa. Dr. Yang has received a variety of academic honours and awards, including those from Women and Children’s Health Research Institute and the Duchesnay International Elective Fellowships. Her research interests include quality-based improvements of surgical instruments in healthcare. She is also interested in global women’s health and has completed several electives in Bangladesh, South Africa and Brazil. In the past year, she has been practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Southlake Regional Hospital in Newmarket and the Hamilton Health Sciences in Hamilton, Ontario. She is actively involved in medical education and clinical teaching at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She is passionate about women’s health in all aspects from providing preventative care and comprehensive obstetrical care, to helping women of all ages navigate through common gynecological issues. Dr. Yang is fluent in both English and Korean.
Dr. Jessica Dupont, ND

Dr. Jessica Dupont is a Naturopathic Doctor, Birth Doula, mother and plant-based foodie. She maintains a General Family practice with a focus in Hormonal Regulation, Women’s Health (PMS, Fibroids, PCOS, Endometriosis, Menopause, etc.), Fertility, & Perinatal Care. Outside of the clinic, she teaches the Naturopathic Doula Course to associate Naturopathic Doctors across North America and the UK, is the founder of York Region Naturopathic Doulas, and is the Creator of the noteworthy online fertility program Baby Bloomers.
Dr. Meghan MacKinnon ND, R.Ac

Dr. Meghan MacKinnon has a goal to help women feel their best at all stages of life, regardless of age. She has a passion for treating women’s health issues including, hormonal concerns, thyroid imbalances, fertility optimization, menstrual irregularities and peri/post menopausal complaints. Dr. MacKinnon has advanced training in bioidentical hormones, natural fertility support, acupuncture and environmental medicine. She takes a comprehensive and integrative approach to treatment by investigating all factors that contribute to health and well-being.
Amanda Holt is a registered nurse at Southlake Regional Health Center. She graduated from York University in 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing with Honours. Over the last 5 years she has worked within the Maternal Child Program. Mostly in Labour and Delivery and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Carly J. Venedam
Carly is a registered nurse at the Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket Ontario on the labour and delivery unit. Prior to that, she was in the Post-Partum unit at Lakeridge Health Ajax-Pickering and Peterborough Regional.She is a graduate from McMaster University in 2014 and has worked within the maternal and kids team. She has the comprehensive assessment skills to handle acutely ill children and adolescents, neonates and postpartum mother’s in a timely and effective manner. She is caring/compassionate/empathetic and has the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Erin Woods, RN, BScN
Erin earned her bachelor of science in nursing degree from Athabasca University through Mount Royal College in Calgary, Alberta. She has 10 years of nursing experience which have been focused on women’s health. In the past, she has worked in surgical oncology, plastic surgery, gynecology and clinical research. Erin is passionate about educating and supporting women to improve their health.
Dr. Katherine E. Wynne-Edwards
Professor, University of Calgary
Dr. Wynne-Edwards has broad interests in endocrinology. A major focus of her research has been to understand the hormonal and neuroendocrine basis for parental behaviour, using an exceptional hamster model of fatherhood, as well as men. She is also increasingly interested in hormone dynamics within individuals and information coded in the magnitude of within-individual variability in hormone concentration.
Rinku has a Digital Marketing Certificate from George Brown College, Toronto. She has 12 years of cross-industry, multicultural experience demonstrating expertise in crisis management, conceptualizing, planning and implementing strategic Integrated Marketing Communications plans. She has worked on various industries like Healthcare, E-commerce, Aviation, Travel and Hospitality, Fashion and Lifestyle. Etihad Airways, L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline, PUMA, Starwood Group of Hotels, Singapore Tourism Board are some of the brands she has worked with in the past.
A professional Medical Office Administrator with more than 10 years of experience in Health Care. She is fully engaged in the unique environment and clientele of a healthcare setting, as well as interacting with clinicians and complying with governmental regulations. Her supervision of patient scheduling, registration, financial transactions, medical records, billing and collection, data entry and processing are key focus areas to the success of a comprehensive medical clinic.
